Eczemas result from diverse kinds of skin irritations, e.g. allergies. What all exzemas have in common is that the skin barrier becomes fragile - meaning that a multitude of very small wounds spread over the surface of the affected skin. Nearly all exzemas are additionally accompanied by excessive bacterial exposure on the skin. Therefore, the risk of inflammation is accordingly very high. These bacteria, as a consequence, can unhinderedly enter through the skin where they cause secondary infections.

The requirements related to an effective treatment of secondary infections are:

  1. Quick, deep-reaching germ reduction

  2. Reconstruction of the natural skin barrier

  3. Repleneshing of lost lipids and moisture

Mycoses:

For mycoses, the antimycotic effect is very important. Skin irritations and fragile skin barriers can also appear. The problem is that fungi are deeply rooted in the skin because of the deep-reaching germ-tubes. The treatment protocol is the same as for exzemas

The process of wound treatment is very similar for both exzemas and wounds

  1. Germ reduction

    1. Direct germ reduction via ECA solution and cold plasma

    2. Indirect germ reduction (increased blood circulation) via cold plasma

  2. Closure of small wounds – stimulation of cell proliferation via cold plasma

  3. Reduction of itchiness and amount of germs on the skin via cold plasma

  4. Intensive skin care AMAMUs Vet Dermcream (hyaluronan/micro-silver)

    • Hydration and moisture supply (hyaluronan)

    • Germ reduction on the skin (Micro-silver)

    • Lipid supply

    • Easing of the skin

    • Replenishing of the local zinc deficits (Zinc gluconate)

Consequently, the healing of the secondary infection is assisted in the most effective way possible. This way, in the long term, the causes of exzemas should be eliminated. Should that not work, the skin should be treated in a way so that it becomes as resistant as possible. For this purpose, a sustained application of Dermcream delivers excellent results. The ingredients, above all the lipids, hyaluronan and the micro-silver are strengthening the natural skin barrier. The better the skin is cared for, the earlier infection waves can be repelled. The micro-silver particles remain in the fur and long-lastingly reduce the bacterial exposure of the skin. When this exposure is low, secondary infections can be prevented during smaller infectious waves because there are less bactieria on the skin.
